TechRep Network is a marketplace that connects remote tech sales professionals — including appointment setters, closers, technical sales specialists and community promoters — with technology companies that need sales support on a commission basis. Reps can represent multiple non-competing companies simultaneously, building a portfolio of products they sell.
Applying and joining TechRep Network is completely free for sales professionals. Compensation is entirely commission-based and paid by the company you represent — you earn commission on deals that close. There are no platform fees deducted from your commissions.
Yes — portfolio selling is a core feature of TechRep Network. You can represent multiple non-competing tech companies simultaneously. This lets you diversify your income, reduce reliance on a single product, and expand your professional network across the tech industry.
TechRep Network supports four roles: Appointment Setters (outbound prospecting, pipeline generation), Closers (demos, negotiations, deal signing), Technical Sales Specialists (complex and enterprise sales support with deep product knowledge), and Promoters (driving sign-ups for low-cost SaaS products inside curated Facebook and LinkedIn communities, paid a flat fee per sign-up). A single rep can hold multiple role types across different companies.
TechRep Network uses a curated, human-driven matching process. Once a rep applies, our team reviews their sales background, industry experience, and role preferences. When a company submits a brief, we identify the best-fit reps from the network and make personal introductions — no job board browsing, no mass applications.
Companies on TechRep Network can support their reps with qualified leads and prospect lists, co-marketing budgets, sales collateral (decks, one-pagers, case studies), product training for technical specialists, and clear commission structures agreed upfront. The level of support varies by company — see what you get as a rep for the full breakdown.
Sales rep applicants and company inquiries typically receive a response from our team within 2 business days. For companies, we aim to deliver a curated shortlist of matched reps within 2–3 business days of receiving a complete sales brief.
For Companies
Hiring from the network
Everything you need to know before submitting a brief.
TechRep Network works with B2B SaaS companies, tech startups, and established technology vendors that sell to business customers. Ideal companies range from early-stage startups looking for their first sales reps to growth-stage companies expanding their sales capacity without adding headcount.
Commission-only sales reps are independent professionals who earn a percentage or flat fee on the deals they close. TechRep Network matches you with experienced reps who are motivated by performance and already skilled at selling tech products.
After you submit your sales brief, our team reviews your product, market, and role requirements. You'll receive a curated shortlist of matched reps within 2–3 business days.
An appointment setter focuses on outbound prospecting — cold outreach, email, and LinkedIn — to generate qualified meetings. A closer takes those meetings, runs demos, handles objections, and signs deals. Many tech companies use both together for a full sales motion.
It's optional but recommended. Providing qualified leads, co-marketing budgets, or targeted account lists helps reps get results faster. Appointment setters can also source their own leads, but companies that equip their reps well see better and faster results.
Yes. You can work with an appointment setter to fill pipeline, a closer to sign deals, and a technical specialist to support enterprise accounts — all simultaneously. TechRep Network helps you build a complete, layered remote sales team at any stage.
Posting starts at $0 — you pay $ per engagement term, charged once both parties sign the hire. You pick 30, 60 or 90 days at hire and the price is the same either way; when a term runs out you renew it to keep registering new deals. On top of that there is a share of the commission once a deal actually closes. The share is charged on top of the commission, never taken out of it, and it is capped per deal. Growth includes your first 20 engagements and Partner your first 30, and both lower your commission share; they also add talent-pool access and priority matching, and Partner includes co-sell and co-marketing support. See full pricing for the breakdown.
